Protocol for ALL ceremonials: Exemplifications require candidates and observers to dress in a manner fitting the dignity of a Knights of Columbus ceremonial. Collared shirts, socks and shoes are the minimum standard. Shorts, tee shirts, sandals are considered inappropriate attire. A jacket and tie are the desired standard for a Third Degree Exemplification. When taking candidates to another council ALWAYS call the GK, FS, or Team Captain to ensure that the Degree is still taking place as published. Although we strive not to change the schedule, unexpected circumstances can and do happen. It is always a good practice to confirm any Degree that is scheduled with the GK of the council hosting the degree. This is to ensure there is no inconvenience to your candidates or any embarrassment to your council.
