About 200 KofC members, their families and friends from throughout Southern California gathered in front of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Building in Pasadena to observe the 30th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision by reciting the Rosary. The Rosary was led by Brother David Flores, Chapter Respect Life Chairman (pictured with bullhorn) using reflections from the Priests for Life web site.
Brother Patrick Ochsner, then Chapter President, was the flag bearer marking the center of the procession. We are grateful for the presence of Rev. Marcos Gonzalez from St. Andrews parish in Pasadena who offered a blessing and closing prayer from the "Pray the Rosary to End Abortion" prayer card available from Supreme (#2072) (first picture, second row). Deacon Jim Crowley, a Past Chapter President, also was able to attend (second picture, second row, far right).
