Every day, California’s farmworkers rise before dawn to harvest the fruits and vegetables that feed our nation. As winter approaches, farms across California shut down from November to February. For farmworkers, this means lost wages, no safety net, and deep uncertainty. Food banks across the state are closing their doors due to lack of funding, leaving families with nowhere to turn.

Let us turn compassion into action. Answer the call with our BOXES OF HOPE, each box is just over $100.

We Were Born Ready - Bishop's Statement
On January 22, the California Bishops issued a statement committing to a vision of support for women, children and families. This is who we are as Catholics. For more than 2000 years, Catholics have cared for the most vulnerable by founding the first hospitals, orphanages, and social safety nets. We provide food, drink, clothing, shelter, healthcare, visit the sick and imprisoned, comfort the afflicted and the dying. We were born ready.

San Gabriel Valley Chapter 2026-2027 Directory Template Available

The 2026-2027 Chapter Directory council page template is now available since council elections can begin on May 1st. Please note that you may reuse the 2025-2026 template with your council's updated information. But be aware that there have been some changes (Membership Director has replaced Public Relations).  Note that this Directory is restricted to the use of the Knights of Columbus membership. Make sure you email back the actual Excel spreadsheet.

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, Family, Fraternal service organization whose Principles are Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. The Knights of Columbus has grown from several members in one council to 15,342 councils and 1.9 million members throughout the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Guatemala, Guam, Saipan, Lithuania, Ukraine, and South Korea. Our charitable activities encompass an almost infinite variety of local, national and international projects. The San Gabriel Valley Chapter is a coordinating body for the councils in the San Gabriel Pastoral Region of the Los Angeles Archdiocese.
